I already havce a wirin kit set up on my car but the wires run to short, whats the best way round this one to extend them

um do you mean an amp kit? then extend the wires with the same gauge of wire and a distribution block or connector.you can buy individual gold plated connectors.
Crikey, what car have you got? Wiring kits normally come with 5-6 metres of power cable and this should be ample for a car, I had to trim mine and that's in a van!
As Custard said, extend it with a distribution block, or a good high amperage wiring connector

i had mk 1 punto now got mk2. I installed my last amp and sub. But the bloke has left the wires in but the have been cut down n they only just past the back of the chairs.
Ahhh I see, well with the money you spend on a few good Distribution Blocks you could probably buy a decent wiring kit and start it all from scratch. You know that you've got yourself some decent wiring then, and it's the right length - no Distribution Blocks - unless you want to run more than one amp.
if its just a couple of cables you need then maplin sells cables cut to length
