Extended warranty

Hello

I have a 1.6 W reg Bravo, the 12 month warranty is about to expire. Any opinions on purchasing another 2 years warranty from Fiat? Good investment, waste of money, too many exclusions etc? Mileage 15k per year.

Fiat don't do it for a loss!

The premium is worked out by calculating all the problems they are going to get and dividing it equally by the customer count. (They know this from their year 1 warranty spend.)
So it depends on whether you think yours is going to cost more than average or less than average. If it's the former then buy it.

Extended Warranty!?

My mate works for FIAT (unfortunate eh?), he said that Fiat warranties (1 year) cost them £140-ish, they sell them to the unsuspecting public for at leat double that figure, it's pure profit, he said that the salesman get's more commission in the warranty thatn in some car sales!?

I went to a direct warranty supplier, got a better warranty than Fiat's for £160 per year!

DO NOT buy from Fiat - you have been warned!
