i bought my bravo about a month ago from an independant garage. when i went to view the car a couple of days before i bought it he mentioned it came with a 6 month warranty, however i forgot to mention it at the time of buying and nothing on my paperwork indicates a warranty. if my car has any problems do you reckon they'll honour the warranty they mentioned?

i only ask cause of my 'cambelt whine' post. they fitted a new cambelt as part of the deal before i picked it up and its very noisy.

warrant wise its bull. most garages will offer absolutely no more than 3 months, though some will try and say its only 1 month. If they did work on the car as part of the deal for buying it, and theres problem, that falls under the workmanship category not the buying agreement. you can take it back within a reasonable amount of time, and ask for it to be remedied at no cost to yourself.
