General exhaust

looks like i need new exhaust 2005 model it has come apart just after the flange where it joins to the pipe coming from manifold.i done a quick repair for the moment but while i was there i was expecting to see bolts holding the flange together but it looks like stud or rivet going through?
can't see anything to actually undo .
Is this done so have to go to dealer as wa looking to get parts and do myself

Petrol or diesel engine. If your on about the first joint roughly in line with the rear of the front wheels then it's two bolts. Has the pipe come off the flange or broken ?

The flange manifold where it joins the centre exhaust section broke off the pipe, took it to a place that makes stainless steel exhausts and they welded it back on for me. Mine was a petrol version though (2004 model).

Also make sure you get the correct gasket for the first joint as there are two types depending on engine number. Mine initially had the wrong one fitted and kept blowing. One looks like a metal ring which sits just in the recess of the pipe and compresses to form the seal the other looks like the shape of the flange.
