Hi all. I've got a 2001 1.9 JTD and have been looking around for a replacement exhaust.
Thing is, mine's all in one and all I see are one's in two seperate parts.
If I bought the two parts would they fit properly and is it a case of they just don't make the whole single one anymore?
I'd be happier anyhow to buy two parts in case a single box goes in the future like it has now but didn't want to commit to buy both and then they're wrong.
Anyone had an dealings with this area?

If the exhaust hasn't been changed ever, just replace both of them.

I was wondering the same, when my rear muffler got loose. They said the front piece (two parts) was repairable, was leaking a bit around the mufflers, but could fail again within a year.

I just changed both of them to save me another visit to the garage.

Wasn't expensive as well paid 33.000 ISK (for 3 mufflers and work)

33.000 ISK is around 155 GBP at today's exchange.

When my Ulysse exhaust went for the first time (at about 100,000 miles) I had the same question. I sawed through the old exhaust, and just fitted a new tail section.
But I ended up fitting a new front section not long afterwards.

I have just done mine and it worked out cheapest to get an all in one exhaust. I bought mine from a German vendor on ebay. Quite well made but did require a bit of bending in the middle (maybe knocked out of true during carriage).

Unlike most cars I have had, the multi part exhausts for multiplas all seem to vary slightly and as such don't always mix and match (unless you know where all the bits came from).
