I have recently has a new mid pipe (Klarius) fitted on my Bravo 1.4 90. We had difficulty getting a good seal from the down pipe to mid pipe . When taking it apart this week it was evident that the downpipe flange was not flat, yet the replacement mid pipe was dead flat and so wouldn't mate properly even with a new gasket. Our idea is that the original Fiat flanges are of softer metal than aftermarket systems so bend a bit to fit together more easily. We have resolved the issue on my car by grinding the original downpipe flange flat and using a bit of sealant on the faces. Anyone else had a similar experience?
