Daughters 1.4 16v lost drive, starts OK and selects gear OK but no drive, on closer inspection I noticed one of the drive shafts had come out of the diff, I can push it back in (which restores drive) but the issue is it can be pulled back out by hand.
I'm thinking that maybe the retaining clip on the end of the shaft has broken (I haven't had chance to strip it down to look at this yet, but on a video showing driveshaft removal on a Punto it states to replace the retaining clip but I can't find this anywhere to purchase. Is it a dealer only part?
