Technical Exhaust Clamp Position

Hi All,
I received my new 126 exhaust brackets today, the bracket closest to the front of the engine foils on the outlet pipe, I had this exhaust on a previous engine in the car & with similar brackets had no issues, have I done something wrong or do I just alter the top piece to fit?

That’s annoying, probably hand made and slight variations? Is there enough give in the setup to ‘persuade’ the silencer back 5mm to give you the clearance needed?
