When you ask for a loan they usually ask what for, and for the kind of money you are talking about I think they would need some justification for taking out a huge loan and then proof you can pay it back.

Shame Italy still doesn't have the Lira as you'd be a millionaire now. Or try Zimbabwe's currency as they're running inflation at like a 1000%. Shame a million of those would only be worth about 10p over here
