Tuning essesse tracktion control system on a 1.9? gps?

Surely its the exact same Bosch ESP System?

Also if it isnt the same then the MJet has more torque than the Abarth SS as standard so wont really help will it.

Are you sure ESP is "traction control"?

Cant see if making any difference, just get a quaife lsd for it, help get the power down.

I dont have much trouble in my remapped m-jet

ESP - Electronic Stability Program (or in some cases) electronic skid prevention.

ASR - Anti-Slip Regulation (traction control)

Yes, ESP, ASR and Hill Holder are managed by the same system. Hence why you usually get them all failing at the same time, rather than one at a time

the abarth doesn't have the same system as the gp sporting. the sporting has Anti Slip Regulation which cuts power if the the wheels spin, the abarth has an electronic LSD which uses the brakes to brake the wheel that is spinning to prevent slip without cutting power at all... its much more effective

edit: to answer OP q. I doubt you could fit it to the GPS, best way to get it is to buy the abarth

I tell you somthing lads, this is complicated stuff isnt it :bang:, wish it were as simple as just updating the system (like a remap)

so when it says ASR Disconnected thats the tractioncontrol turned off? is this right?

Yes, as it says in the manual. I have no idea why you would do that in normal driving conditions.

I have no problem with wheel spin in any gear if the car is driven correctly.
