been listening to my panasonic home stereo for about 30 minutes on full volume and theres a strong burning smell coming from the stereo and speakers, its still playing fine but they stink what have i done

coil probably get seriously hot and started to perish any rubber/plastic around them... you know what all coils of wire are right?... heaters
its prob the glue in the voice coils where uve been pushing the stereo, unless you have done either of the above
Or the powerpack transformer. The coils are coated in a clear lacquer which stinks when its overheating.
and yet another piece of electronica succumbs to beau......

What have you done? You've listened to your Panasonic home stereo for about 30 minutes on full volume. That's why there's a burning smell. Are you deaf or something? If you're not now you will be soon.
