Hi all. Around 6 months ago I got the yellow engine warning on my Panda Cross 4x4 2015 twinair. It went away after a few days but returned two weeks ago, went again but has returned. I checked on an OBD and it has x2 error codes P0236 and P0244. The first says turbo boost sensor A circuit range the second just "turbo". Theres a good few posts on here as to the exact cause. What I have noticed is it always came on in higher gear under load but lower revs. There seems a loss of power and its got a weird high pitch whine. Folk post various possible causes from a wastegate solenoid issue which seems the biggest cause, a malfunctioning turbo boost sensor, air leaks or turbo problem. Ive booked it in to my mechanic. Im selling it in just over a month and im an honest person so wont sell a car with a fault. Oh nearly forgot. Each time the error occurs there's a warning "stop start malfunction" Odd. Any advice?

Just a thought: Stop-start issues normally relate to battery, poor voltage, etc. at lower revs, potentially less alternator output? So worth checking belts, earth straps etc and battery condition.

Thanks for the reply. I did think it may be a battery issue and I checked it and Its actually 11 years old and 80,000 miles so its lasted way longer than id think it would. Odd how that stop start flashes up at the same time as the error code. Im going to pull the plastic engine cover and heat shield and check the wastegate for wear. If its worn might be a problem. Checking the alternator as you say as the whine does sound like a belt/. Ill see and post the result.
