i had a powerflow exhaust fitted on monday,and im not sure if the noise started whilst on the way up there or afta the exhaust was fitted. when u put ur foot down u can hear it more like..its like a whinning noise. any ideas what it could be? could it be a belt of sum sourt? the cam belt was changed about 4k ago so i wouldnt of thort it wud b that. any ideas if it could be a alternator belt or something? and if so how easy is it to get to? or ive also been told it could maybe be where the engine is running rich that by re setting the ecu it will sort it out. any ideas would be a great help

doesnt sound good

maybe it needs a rollin road, or a remap to tune everyting up :S
 
wat about resetting the ecu as that will sort the fuel/air mixture out like and that could solve it do u think?

any 1 help me on this 1 pleasssssse lol i need the experts view and who better than the people who know all there is to know about bravos than you people. its worrying me so any help would be most grateful

The mixture or ECU won't make a whining noise.

Without hearing its very hard to say what it could be.
 
um ill try best 2 explain it ..it sounds likea whinning noise it can be heard at a stand still if u rev it but if u drive it when u put ur foot down it sounds worse.. it seams louder at slower speeds aswel

i was listening to it today again and it seams to be possibly coming from the cam belt or somewhere near the air con belt. my air con doesnt work and hasnt since i bourt the car a few months back, could it be anything to do with this? i bourt a can of fan belt dressing and sprayed it on the belts but it is still making the noise. the cam belt is supposeably changed 4k mile ago, but could it b tentioned wrong, like to tight? or maybe 1 of the air con belts being the wrong tention? anything would be a help if you have any ideas

ye i turn the air con on but the temperature stays the same like. but it is around that area the noise is comeing from

went to fiat today, the said it could be the air con, because it doesnt work, the unit doesnt turn, it works on a clutch basis like wen u let clutch out it moves, well this is when the air con comes on it spins, but mine doesnt.. thing is i gota wait till 10 september there booked up till then just 2 have it re gassed and then that is presuming that is the problem.. hope it is..

the 1 ova pontnewydd by the workmens.. wat a w***** the bloke was...... so up in his world like hewas talking down 2 me...arse****. was lookin at a 147 gta wen i was there and the man said to the old man" dun even bother lookin at that 2 expencive" ... cheaker f*****, the old man said" if i wanted it id av it with or with out ur opinion thank u " shut the tit up neway lol... but yea hopefully it is that i hope to god.. gota wait till 10 sept now tho :(

fell in love with the gta :) lol.. ar well am still happy with the hgt..maybe a car for the old man ;)

Do you want me to ask in Fiat in newport tomorrow when they can fit you in (going down to pick my handles up - if they are in yet)

Not sure, but you may not have to go to Fiat to have it regassed...

well its booked in thats the thing now..the fitter bloke was gr8 like..it was the tw** on reception like... na didnt have a beard... was quite a dark skinned bloke. who works there who is ma next door neighbour lmao? it is 60£ + vat like..

what handles? coz i need sum for my car like, waas thinkin bout the delocked ones tho maybe lol..

Not your next door neighbour, but the guy with the beard lives over your way somewhere...he drives a 145...

I may have found somewhere much cheaper, Check your email ;)

I've got some Alfa chrome handles to try on mine...apparently they are scratched to ****, but they are only to test to see if they fit ok...(freebies :))

If i get them on, you can come and have a look to see if you like them, otherwise you have three options with your handles...

1. Get Bravo handles
2. Get marea front door handles (They are not rubber like the ones you have)
3. Get marea rear door handles (No locks)

I think you can get the marea handles in two types, plastic and primed plastic (if you want to spray them)
