engine over heated

Have you looked into why the engine overheated? There may be no need to strip it down

check the fan cuts in when the engine is hot

if it does then have a look around the cooling system for any leaks, traces of oil in coolant resevoir or dropping coolant levels

does it run now??? does it turn over even???

if yes to both then check the fan comes on, check you have coolant, check you have coolant not just water . also check the thermostat on the right side of the head is opening as should.

hi guys a checked the car and it started so we then cheched the fan and all the pipes and it turned out there was a air in the systeam so i flushed it out and put new collant in it and it runs like a dream.
