Technical engine management light

Hi. I have a stilo jtd estate and the em light came on yesterday. the hand book says that the injection system has failed, but the car still runs, sluggish but runs. has any one else had this and any likely causes, apart from what the book says, ie injection failure?? any quick resets??

how did you come to that conclusion? You will need to give us some error codes (mil comes on for many reasons & there isn’t a different color or any other means to differentiate between the cause - hand book or not)

Only going by what the manual says. Booked in with local dealer for tuesday. any clues as to common fault for this? It was running absolutely perfectly in the week before.

well i have a Jtd multiwagon and the only time the engine fault light has come on has been when the egr valve failed and the overboost valve and both times it went into a limp home mode thing where it wouldnt rev over about 3000 rpm.
As for injection fault i wouldnt have thought so, but what is the car not doing and how is it behaving.

Got the post mortem from Lipscombes Ashford. 2 loose connections and £69 lighter. Phew for small mercies. Loose sensor conection on injector pressure something??? and on the super charger pressure doo hickey?
