Technical Engine knocks at start up

Hi I have a problem with my 500 it's done 20,000 miles and been regularly serviced buy a main agent.
It has started knocking when I start it up first thing, but it only started doing it if it had not been started for two or three days.
Now it is doing it every day, the oil light goes out instantly when it is started but you here a knocking noise from what I think is the top of the engine.
It only lasts a second or two and never does it again during the day.
The main agent told me they had never had a problem with this sort of think before, I must say I did not believe him.
Any one out there know what it could be ?

My punto has had a top end rattle at start up ever since I had it at 8,000 miles and until Sat it was still going at 107k! But I would insist they check it out
