Technical Engine identification..

Hi all,

Could anyone tell me where the engine number is located on a late 2009 1.1 please?
I have found a sticker just under the thermostat housing but it's no longer readable, strange enough what I still could pick up clearly is "1.242 8V".
Mine supposed to be a 1.1..

Standing in front

Above the left most exhaust manifold branch

Under an aluminium heat shield if it’s not been left off

It’s also on the V5C

Thank you! I would never have found it, I need to clean that area first to be able to read it.
The heat shield has been removed before I owned the car, only broken bolts left so can see why it's not been put back...
And yes I want to compare the engine number with the v5 after noticing the 1.242 sticker..
