I have a 2005 Ducato Camper and I have a full vin number for it.
ZFA244000 07612476 elsewhere on the rating plate it says 8140.43 which I think is the engine model but I am in real problem identifying the correct oil filter, most sites expect nme to know if its a 90 or 94Kw engine
Any advice very welcome as I would like to do a full filter and oil change
Mike

Hi Mike,

Use the ePer link at the top of the page to enter your VIN to find out exactly what you have. I tried it but looks like your VIN is missing a digit.

Our catalogue here only covers up to 2005 though so may miss your vehicle, a quick Google search should find a more up-to-date version of ePer :)

If the details highlighted yellow are correct for your van, then the part number is 8093784 which has now changed to part number 71753739.

If it's any use, mines a ZFA244 2.8jtd 2005 127BHP Camper and my next filter on the shelf is the same as the one fitted, I always keep a duplicate filter in stock so to speak.
It's a Fram-PURL S235 also marked LS235.

BTW I can't get the ePER to work even with my 17 digit VIN, it comes up with an error message 503.1

Try putting your reg' into a Car Spares search facility, that should work.

There were/are two different size threads on the filters that fitted the 2.8 JTD engines. One has a 19mm thread & the other is 22mm, from memory the 19mm filters were on the earlier models up to around early 2005 then they swapped to the 22mm filters & probably also went to the plastic type cartridge fuel filters at the same time from the spin on type.
As for the part numbers they seem to have changed so many times over the years I can't give you a specific number for each.
The 19mm filter seems a fatter one & one number for these probably changed since is 1903628 (Iveco Part No.) which I used on our old 2.8JTD.
The other 22mm is a thinner body & (Fiat numbers) probably again old superseded numbers - 0008094864?
The 22mm filters are fitted to the our Euro 5 model 3.0 Multijet which have a Fiat Part No. of 0071749828 so if yours has a 22mm thread maybe that would fit. Couldn't get my ePer Ed84 (2012) to work with that VIN either.
Cheers

One is metric thread the other is imperial you can eyeball it when its off, easier method is check the part number of the filter thats already on there.
