General Engine covers

i was woundering if there is and people/traders on the forum that can get things like engine covers and parts like that and even parts off different models off GP's

am basicly wanting to know if the abarth engine cover fits the Tjet and if its possible to order these

i cant see why the engine cover wont fit as its the same 1.4l engine...

The Moon.

Your car isnt an abarth so why do you need an abarth engine cover?

reason being i wanting a flat engine cover which the abarth one is the fiat badge on the Tjet on is raised as i wanting to play around with the engine cover

I thought about one Stu then came to my senses Just cut the Fiat badge out then plastic weld some plastic in and fibre glass it or something. The abarth badge is raised on the abarth cover anyway.

whats the point what difference does it make you dont drive around with the bonnet up anyway (i hope!)

fair enough matt i will look into that and the point off doing engine dressing up shall i say is so shows and that your car would look good from all points off view

i was thinking of spraying my engine cover, make it look a little nicer. what would be the best way of doing this, would i need to prime it first or would heat resistant paint stick straight to it?

It does look a lot better sprayed. I didnt attempt to do mines myself, to big a surface. I got a bodyshop to do mine, 40 quid so cant complain

that looks awesome mate. exactly what i want, white with the T-Jet in red. i might see if i can find someone local to do mine, i would probably mess it up!
