Apologies if this has been asked before. I did search before posting. I was wondering if anyone knew of an eBay link to a brass insert that would be suitable for a Fiat 500 twin air engine cover fixing. The inserts are simply turning when the bolts are inserted meaning that the cover cannot be tightened down properly.

go on e-bay input brass inserts and 8000 come up you should be able to narrow it down from there! by inputing type /size etc
Epoxy them in place?

One of the threads has partially stripped on mine, but I was able to get away with using a longer bolt, as luckily the thread does go all the way to the bottom of the hole.
I ordered some M6 brass inserts but I found these were just turning inside the hole. In the end, I just used a standard M5 nut and tapped it into the hole. It provides a good interference fit. Obviously, have to change to a M5 bolt to hold the cover in place.
