Hi
Last Friday having driven for an hour+ I parked up for 10-15 mins. When I got back in the car I swithced it on but it wouldnt start, it just kept firing. I called out the aa and they rigged it up to the computer and a soon as he did the EMS light went of and it started. I got home no bother. Sat I drove to Oxford and again after an hour and half - popped into services same again. I removed all the relays and fuses in the box (engine bay) left it for 10-15 mins is started again. Drove into Oxfoed and home no bother. Drove all last week no bother again. THEN today it cut out whilst I was driving with the kids (a cleaver design for the car trade that one, cut out whilts driving?????!!!!!!!!). Again left for 5-10 mins and it starts again but kept cutting out every mile?
We then did the karate bit (1-2 hours) car started straight the way but 3-5 miles down the road cut out???????
If I change all the realys and seal in the box - will this solve the issue?

Stef

Long time ago but it was probably a fault (dry joint, broken wire) in the Loom. Had this issue from the day I bought brand new from Ancaster Bromley Rd in 2009. Dangerous! Took a year not to fix. They Couldn't trace it multiple times. Useless! After warranty expired took it to Gonnella Bros Catford who eventually found it. Sorted.

Last post on the thread you replied to here was from December 2009!!! How did you stumble across this one?! 😁
By description of problem, cause there would have been faulty crankshaft positioning sensor. If time travel works and my message travels time, maybe OP is helped by this.
