Morning everyone. New here, but not to these sort of forums....great source of help in the past.
My other half has bought a 56 plate 1.2 punto. The Eml light came on after turn on the heater blower, which didn't work until turned to 4. The rear indicator blew at the same time. Have fixed the light, had a check of various wires and earths etc and reset the eml. It has come on again yesterday after she turned the blower down. Is this a known fault? Is there an easy fix?
Thanks
Dave

There are at least two faults I think. Heater working only on 4 is what happens when the heater resistor burns out. The resistor is near the blower motor

The heater earth is under and foward of the battery and is part of a large number of earths. A fault there could create other faults when the motor current changes.

Hi :)

The old punto 188 had a charming feature with cooked wiring at the heater plug

The later 199 had its own issues..

Have a look at the logbook .. or VIN plate.. so we know which to elaborate on
