Technical Emergency Question

The wife and the kids have gone camping in the car and now all the dash warning lights are flashing and making a clicking noise (all this without the key in the iginition). This happened once before, but only with the key in the ignition and the garage came out and sorted the problem (or so I thought).

Will be phoning the garage next to see if they can remember what cause the problem. (mechanic who sorted it out last time is on holiday, so no help there. It's down to you guys)

Do you have any bright ideas?

Well, after numerous phone calls with said wife

It turns out that one of the kids had turned the hazards on (sometime yesterday afternoon) and she had had the cool box plugged in to the lighter socket.

Turn hazards off noise stops :bang: Hence flat battery :bang: Bloody pressure on its way down

Brilliant!

That's as bad as my wife phoning me because she couldn't get into the Stilo. She was pressing the remote button and the keyfob battery was dead. It never occured to her to actually use the key to unlock the door! Women and cars do not mix.
