Hi, I've read these forums for a long time (even though I dont have a bravo but am hoping to get one one soon if I can sell this flipping punto) and have seen a few people with a hell of a lot of knowledge. In particular I'm interested in electrical knowledge. I'm having a problem when the punto's just started. If its left to idle for a short period of time then you put you try to accelerate theres a total loss of power and the car just judders until the revs have risen a little and then full power again. I'm hoping that someone on here has seen something similar and I just wish there was a resource for punto owners as good as this.

Its a 1.1 Punto 55SX.

Cheers

Andy

Not up on Punto's at all, but...

I had a similar problem with my HGT, reset the ECU, problem solved :)

Like i said i'm not up on Punto's at all (they may not even have an ECU...lol), but it might help...

Take the battery off for about 12hrs, then drive normally for a few hundred miles...your mpg will drop during this time...

Re: Re: Electrical Fault

Do you need the red key once you've reset it?

I didnt when i did mine, and i havent heard of anyone else needing it...

I take you havent got the red key then?
