Technical Electric windows

I recently bought a 1.2 dynamic eco new .Yesterday i noticed that the passenger side electric window switch has to be held down until the window gets to the bottom.On the drivers side once the switch is pressed and i let go the window goes all the way down to the bottom.Does any one know if this is normal or does the passenger side window motor have a fault?

All Pandas are the same.

There must be a way to replace the switch/relay/gubbins in the passenger side mechanism with those from the driver's side to make both windows auto open/close. I'm not sure which bits would be needed though - anyone? Just the switch?

I don't know for sure without a wiring diagram but suspect it would require a change of relay and would probably cost more than it's worth.

It's a pain having to hold the passenger one down to open or close it, can be a bit dangerous while driving too, I suppose.

Shame it doesn't have auto close when you lock the car up too, was a good feature on my Seat Leon that, handy was auto open too when the car was hot inside, let all the hot air out before getting in.

You know what we used to do, Most Easterly!
I remember the joy we had on Lanzarote when the passenger window winder on an almost brand new Seat Marbella (very poor Panda copy) stripped its thread with the window down.
I can still wind a manual window down faster than a leccy one and not give myself repetitive strain injury.

Thanks Doctor Chris I have found it in the manual now.I was convinced that it was a fault given that the drivers side worked in a different way.Seems like a bit of cost cutting like the lack of boot light!!
Not had the car long but well pleased so far...great build quality
