Hi, I have, a new to me, 2016 500 Lounge. The seats seem to have wires entering them underneath. Are these for heating? There doesn't seem to be any buttons to operate them on the dash, as in pictures on YouTube. Or is there something else electrical maybe? Cheers John.

On earlier cars at least the wires are for seat air bags/ seat pressure sensors/ and belt tensioners/ via three separate connector blocks!- no 500 im aware of has ever had electric adjustable seating!.
never seen them in one either! might be on the post 2015 cars but i have no idea!!!
Not heated, but you "could" add the feature, a professional seat trimmer could install it, at some cost?

Depending on driver side or passenger site, they are for the airbag, pressure sensor and seatbelt.
Like i said earlier!!!
Air bag will be the orange/yellow plug
The other one will be seatbelt sensor and seat occupancy sensors
