hi guys i know you will say not an egr question again .
but i have done a search and not come up with the answer iam looking for .
from what i have read iam suffering from the egr sticking i will remove it to clean but if thats no good buy a blanking plate . can i blank it off at the manifold becouse that is the easyist place to blank with the 2 bolt version . i had a 2004 vw golf pd150 and removed the whole egr system and fitted 2 blanking plates and rerouted the water pipes . dissconected the plug no warning light.
my car is a fiat florino (qubo) 1.3 muitijet 75 bhp . so what is the best place to blank it off .
if i dissconect the electrics on the egr does that mean the egr is shut or open .
hoping not to have the eml light come on .
also do these engines have a egr cooler.
