Technical GP 1.4 Starjet VVT( egr function ) disabling

Hello guys, i find some threads about VVT system on Starjet. Is it possible to deactivate it via remapping ecu?

I found two threads where it says to replace the floating pulley with a fixed one from 1.2 16V - Punto II i thnik. Furthermore, the oil inlet can be cut off. But first I wonder if anyone managed to turn off "EGR" via software.

Why would you want to disable the variable valve timing? Am I missing something
