well said, that is my gripe with the bidding,
jon, sniping tool is a download, not on ebay, heard mike brewer on wheeler-dealers say he uses it, sneaky! hope it chokes whoever won the fiat part i was keen to have.
It failed on me once so if I'm around I manually bid with a few seconds to go. It is useful if you're away - assuming it actually logs in
An auto bid can't beat you if yours is the highest bid. The moral is to bid the most you're prepared to pay - if you still lose someone wanted it more than you (or possibly had more money than sense!).

Ah, I get it now..got to say 95% of the time I snipe..like that it looks like very few bidders then ... Bang two seconds to go the bid sneaks it..:devil:

gavin, if i see it goes up in £1`s quickly , i will put a very high price! so let them snipe that one

Simply declare an interest on here and avoid bidding against someone. I have done this before.
come on, what item did someone beat you on?
I never use sniping tools, always snipe manually, that way I can still use a cashback website and earn some ££ back
