Well, here's my suggestion for lunch on the 19th.
For those that know Norwich, there is a new Brewers Fayre Pub just off the A140 outside the airport. It has a Travel Inn next door and both of these establishments have large car parks. There also happens to be a McDonalds next to the hotel for those who want dead cow in a bun.
I'm thinking of this location as there is ample parking at the pub, unlike Riverside (Big W) which is going to be heaving on a Saturday and is a bit of a walk from any decent drinking establishments (except the Ferryboat Inn, mind you !) Even so, this car park serves Morrisons, Argos Superstore, Boots Superstore and Big W amongst others and really will be packed on a Satuday PM. Sad really, coz it's right in the shadow of the hallowed turf of Carrow Road
There are plenty of pubs in Norwich (more than any other place in the UK, to be precise) but not many with good parking and easily accessed. The only other place that springs to mind is The Whiffler on the Ring Road, next to B&Q and yet another Golden Arches establishment. This might be worth a look as it is a Wetherspoons, therefore easy on the pocket. Not a huge car park tho'.
If you can think of anywhere else, do shout
Rob
