dumper smeared with oil...

Hi!

Can anybody help me? While changing front wheels of my old Uno 60 (first serie) I noticed that one dumper was smeared with oil, quite completly dirty... what should I check? pherhaps some oil from brakes system leaking from cables? or there may be other causes?

do u mean the damper??

if so it sounds like its failed and will need replacing, it's an mot failure.

as above the Damper / Shock absorber has probably blown a seal

you will need to replace the front strut

(need spring compressors to swap front spring over to the new strut)
