Technical Ducato Turbo problems

I have a motorhome based on a Ducato cab and chassis with a 2.8l JTD diesel engine. Its 9 years old but has only done 13,000 miles. It does not seem to have much power for such a large engine. I have never felt the turbo kick in.

How can I tell that the turbo is working properly?

All motorhome are sluggish - what you have to remember is, they are van bases. The motorhome body and equipment is in effect a fully loaded down van. If you are cruising, expect around 70 to be adventurous, and 50 or 60 to be more normal.

Your hills may be slow climb, but you will pass the non-turbo versions! You are on holiday - so chill, relax and enjoy the journey!
