General Ducato part ordered from Autopartspro UK

I ordered a side trim (short one) for my 2004 Ducato. The listed price was
UK 9.00 pounds. I accepted this and placed the order in my basket. I could not find a shipping cost so went ahead to the next phase of ordering. Still no freight cost shown. I received an email from them showing my order number and when I checked up on that number I found that I had been charged UK 161.00.
for shipping. The item in question would weigh no more than 300 grams.
Anyway I emailed straight away to cance the order but to no avail. They have taken the money (NZ$300 +) out of the credit card and their ultimate reply was that they would consider my cancellation.
Boy oh boy!

Somebody wanted a headlight and anpther mid sized part

Shipping was massive.. @£400 IIRC

I advised getting a backpacker to return with them..

put in a complaint to your credit card company, they can often sort these things out

There in new zealand.i think so probably quite different regulations with credit card purchases

Of course they are .. they paid in nz dollars..
And the items purchased are travelling thousands of miles

A bit sneaky of the vendors to apparently not make shipping charges clear..

but this is a common cost for Vehicle parts almost travelling 'pole to pole'

same as here, its also not a chargeback they need to apply for its unfair trading practicing
