Ducato Motorhome newbie

Hi,
I just joined on Sat 7 Oct 2023. I am having trouble with my ComfortMatic Gearbox on my 2016 Motorhome, so I was searching for info and I found this forum. It looks like the Motorhome will be going to a Main Dealer. If I learn anything useful about repairing it I will post it on the Forum. Cheers! John JK04

No I don’t have Warranty now. I bought this 6.4m Carthago Malibu conversion new in 2016. It has now covered 84,000 miles.
I am hoping just the Clutch is broken and that I don’t have to pay for the ComfortMatic ‘Robotic Box’ that shifts the Gears.
If I had known when I bought it that ComfortMatic was not really a proper auto with a Torque Converter, I would’ve just chosen a manual gearbox. I wonder if anybody converts the ComfortMatic into an ordinary Manual with a Clutch? JK04
