hi, i have a ducato motorhome , french made and an automatic, is the rev limiter set at 3000rpm on these as it seems very low and also a bit lacking in power

128cv is not a lot to move a heavy motor home around, plus the autobox is likely to be consuming between 10 and 15 cv which leaves even less at the wheels.
The sofim 8140 engine fitted makes maximum torque at 1800rpm so rev limit of 3000rpm appears sensible.

Decent service, making sure tyre pressures correct and not carrying excess weight (not full water tanks) may help

Just be sure you are not in limp mode. That mode will restrict your revs and reduce power.
