Hi guys. I'm really struggling to find the correct connector. I have same exact issue on 2002 UK variant (Right hand drive, pre-face). All the white connectors I see are 4,5 or 7+ wires, but can't see one with exactly 6, on both driver and passenger sides. the wire from pedal immediatelly goes into wrapped loom and further into dashboard. on the photo i'm holding it in my hand.

Could someone please help out

Found it. It was on far left hidden deep behind other wires. The one that is disconnected on photo.
It was 6 wires with exact colours as pedal connector. To be sure I tested all 6 for continuity from pedal.

Depinning was difficult especially because wires are so short, nightmare to work with. but I depinned in the end and connected directly with solder connectors and extra wire.

Now just need to go for a trip as mine was going limp quite rarely

For me connector is on driver side.
I had limp mod. go on when low trottel, ~1700rmp .. low load after a breaking down and accelerating again. maybie if u let the foot quick enough the ecu dont save the error and u can drive normaly on.. in my case. i had too reset the ecu error poti2 gas pedal.
- i measured 35ohm between peda and ecu on grey-red cabel.
-when i checked the connector it self healed and said 0 ohm sudendly. (so maybie juste touching it cures the problem?!)
so far ok now.. 150km went smooth..
I wish I had seen these pics 6 years ago. This is my plug from the pedal potentiometer to ecu. The blue grnd wire was hanging out looks like some bodged solder job. The grey/white signal wire was easily pulled out from the connector and looked tampered with. The blue grnd wire was diagnosed a few years ago and a jumper wire fitted. All was well until recently when the dreaded injector light came on again. I intend cutting the plug off and soldering the wires. Fingers crossed.
