Technical Ducato 2.2 multijet 3 290 gliwplugs

Hi all,
I am trying to locate the glow plugs on a
ducato 2.2 multijet 3 290

Also, I need a service manual, happy to pay for it.

Sorry cant help with glow plugs.
As to service manual, i'm afraid i doubt if one will ever be available. There is next to no Fiat or other information on any Ducato 2016 on. Probably all models not just Ducato (only looked for mine)
Just had a thought is this the Jeep based model, if so may be luckier.

Hi,
It's a motorhome chassis.
I changed them on my last X250 2.3 2008 & one of them snapped in the block.

I want to change these as a precaution

Hi Desmohead78,

I do not have a 2.2 (Ford Puma?) engine to look at, but I seem to remember that the are fitted horizontally into the front of the cylinder head. Certainly if you download the correct (2.2/2.3) x250 Training Manual, from the downloads section at the top of the page, and then scroll to page 29 there is something in that position below the hp fuel manifold. However could it be oil pipework?

The gliwplugs are at the back of the engine.

Hope they are more accessible than the ones I did on my2010 Scudo 2litre Peugeot engine, training in gynecology would have helped, although I found a useful utube video of guy doing same job on a Peugeot 407 with same engine.
