dual boot Windows7 with OSX

Hi all

Planning completely wiping my laptops drive to do a dual boot set up and wondering is it possible to dual boot OsX on a Windows 7 Rtm 7400 laptop.

I know its possible on an XP machine ans on a Mac but is it doable on 7

I assume it's an Apple laptop?

If so yes you can use Bootcamp to do it. Any reason why using RTM and not the full release version? .

Actually its a Toshiba L300 4gb DDR2 ATM athlon Dual Core with 250gb hard space.

Its running Rtm as it had that at purchase...

But I do have a W7 sp1 disk from my netbook I will use put on...

Is it possible to dual boot a windows laptop with Mac? Or is anything else recommended

Should be easy enough to boot any AMD with Lunux or Free BSD (and OSX is "just" a glamourised BSD).

Surprised here, though, that Intel means something specific, rather than not PPC -- in the Linux world we just call the i386, i686 and so on, regardless of who makes the chip.

I think the best bet of getting OSX running would be in VMWare (or something similar). As I'm pretty sure it will bork at the AMD chip.

i once did it with pear pc on an amd machine with a very old mac os it works but you need a super computer to run it well its not really worth it

Decided to go with ubunto or whatever its called.
