Was going to post this yesterday, but didn't get the time.
Almost prophetic really...
I've been thinking for a while now (since the late Seventies actually), wouldn't it be a good idea if people that wanted to drive had to have some sort of training (you could call them 'lessons' or something similar) where they were taught to drive, from people that knew how to drive?
Also, after said training, and ONLY once they'd reached a certain standard, they'd have to prove that they were capable of putting into practice what they'd been taught in some way, maybe call it a 'Driving Test'?
Then, only when they'd proved they were fit to be let loose on their own with something capable of killing a lot of people in one go, would they be given something to prove this, call it a 'Driving Licence' if you like?
