Hi Everyone,

I have a ducato campervan 2.3 multijet 2012. I live inFrance and have a problem with DPF being over 95% blocked and corroded.
So, it has to be replaced although the price from garage is unbelievable.
I have hopefully sourced one in the UK at a third of the quoted price. The mechanic wants to use an original part from fiat. Does anyone know of this part number or where I could find it. The engine no is F1AE3481D

Is there a problem with not using official fiat parts such as when its re-computed or for further re-generations. I am reluctant to pay a fiat price as no doubt this seams to be a common problem and am happy to fit a cheaper unit and have it thoroughly cleaned every couple of years. has anyone any experience with this ?

Any idea's, solutions , links would be gratefully received.

The unit has already been cleaned but hasn't been effective and forced regeneration hasn't worked either. I've attached some photo's for reference.
Thanks everyone

Thanks everyone

You part number according to eper is 1367589080.

Its availalble from axel augustin in germany:

You can get reconditioned ones also on ebay germany:

Naughtier people would delete the DPF in the ecu and put a straight through pipe inside the bad dpf.

Thanks for your reply. I have managed to source a second hand one. Would a DPF from a 2016 model fit if it has the same engine number ??

I should check the diff pressure sensor, IT Will show exactly the same error code. Test diff pressure when motor is not running , IT should be near zero. Had to exchange mine, Also a 2012. Seem to be a common fault.
