Double Fusion 12" sub Splitting

Ive recently bought a double sub in a single box with a buit in amp.
I was wondering if you could split the subs up and only use one in a new box. and still use the supplied amp?
or would it over power the single sub?
Help would be appreciated

I dont have a link no sorry, its not on the internet its via a friend. Ill try and find out the power output of the amp and impedence of the Subs and what the wiring kits like.

This is the newer version of the kit, not sure if its the same power ect. but im sure its a start

UPDATE: I picked the subwoofers and Amp up tonight and much to my supprise (-_- reliable mates for ya) the whole kit doesnt have one single Fusion bit on it. Instead its got 2 BOSS drivers 12", a full wiring kit inc (RCA adaptors) and a Sony Xplod 440w amp.
I will put pictures up as soon as possible
