General Door seal ripping

Hey i have a mk 2, 2001 3 door punto.
I noticed the other day that my door seals are ripping on both sides when i close the door
Just above the hinges next to the wing mirror.

What shall i do?
iv thought of replacing it but i think that would mean replacing the whole door seal on both sides...
Don know how much that would cost...

If your not sure id have a look at your own, i only found out the other day

This has happened on my drivers door but not to sure about the passenger door
Il be keeping an eye on this thread for advise

Just dug this up when searching around as the same thing is happening on my 55 sporting.Just noticed the door is rubbing on the rubber and though its not worn all the way through it it looks like it will soon beAny way does anyone out there know what this seal is called as its not a door seal and goes all along the roofline off the car.Any help gratefully accepted so i can at least look like i know what ime asking foor when i phone up the parts dept!!

Easy- roof strip. Bear in mind there's a difference between 3 and 5dr models.
