the dreaded VAT. I don't know about your preferences but when I go into a shop, the retailer must know I'm a prsonal customer.

Why on earth must they give me a sweet sounding price, wait a minute for me to whip out the card in excitement and then go......PLUS THE VAT.

ARRRRGGGHHHHH.

all i want is an inclusive price. Is that too muct to ask?

They have to indicate clearly 'price ex VAT' in the UK.

I've had this arguement with a mailorder company where they forgot to put anywhere on the catalogue the prices were ex vat.

What pisses me off is the fact that you work hard all month, get paid and get taxed. In order to get to work you drive your car and get taked, you then take your wadges to buy the stuff you want and surely enough.. you get taxed!

You cant even have a crap these days without getting taxed!

I dont mind paying the tax what pisses me off almost enough to go into politics is that we have to spend so much money supporting and cosseting bloody immigrants who then take the **** and abuse everything that is given to help them. Why cant we be like the French and wlecome them in and then advise them if they so much as park on a double yellow line they are out on their ear. No that is not racist, (yes it is politically incorrect but then I hate PC as well) it is reality.

I think one of the papers worked out how much money you actually get to keep.

I was something rediculous like 35%, by the time they took everything off.

whats more amusing is that bernardo's claim that 1/3 of kids in this country live in poverty (poverty! can you believe that?) and they want the government to pay for them to go on holiday once a year. No bloody wonder this country's turning into a load of slackers. Work, get nothing, pay more tax then you take home and anything you may have by the time your old is taken away from you to look after you in your old age, or, sit and do nothing all your life, get everything given and still get looked after when your old. i mean COME ON!!!
