I don't think he can be blamed, as a lot of car fragernt spary polishes are probably flamable.

Well if you have a look at the side of a can of spray deodrant you might read the following (this is what it says on my deodrant):

CAUTION: EXTREMELY FLAMMABLE

Plus:

Contains Butane, Isobutane and Propane (Butane and Propane are used in gas cylinders for heating i.e. very flammable :rolleyes: )

Protect from sunlight and do not expose to temperatures exceeding 50 degrees. Do not pierce or burn. Do not spray on naked flame or incandescent material. Do not use in confined areas. KEEP AWAY FROM SOURCES OF IGNITION. NO SMOKING.

etc. etc. etc.

So the guy couldn't say he wasn't warned...

Oh, and a lot of car sprays do not use propellants like propane for this very reason.

And you have to be a dick to polish your dashboard with DEODRANT anyway!

This quote does it for me;

"All my mates use it, we all take it around in cars. Others use Impulse,"

indeed they do, he was probably sniffing it for some high.

One can but laugh.

american beau???

It's here in New Zealand, in Rotorua. I found the article :)

We probably shouldn't laugh, as it left the family "traumatised". :nono:
But it certainly makes a good example of what not to do, and the more people informed, the less chance there is of someone doing something equally stupid (and entertaining...)

What I don't get is, why use of all things deodorant to try and clean the stain? :confused:

"Lynx is designed to attract members of the opposite sex, but not in this way. We hope the young man is not too seriously hurt."
