To keep the costs down why dont you do the service and cambelt yourself, as i am sure the punto owners on this forum would help give you a guide to doing it. the cam belt and tensioner can be bought for about £15, and a service at a garage will probably only do the air filter, oil change, and spark plugs (which you could easily do for £25 max). With regards to the clutch price, try ringing a few different garages.

i dont have any tools whatsoever

Nor any technical know-how how to do it I dont mind paying, as long as it gets done, and works, and that it, done dusted, you know!

The thing wont go into any gear again now So i might need to be towed over to the place i am getting it all done

Heh ho. I need to switch the rear offside tail lights (just the reflector part) and see what wrong with the rear wiper motor. Then I hope, fingers crossed, all good.....
