Hi Newbie here, Trisha is the name,

Ok right down to business, I have a Fiat Stilo 3 door 02 reg 1.6 Active, Nice car however, I have a problem Running on 3 cylinders, Yep you probably fed up of this one , I have had it checked and coil pack 4 was down, so nice new coil pack installed and eek no change, It appears not to be getting power up to the coil pack , I am a PC technician so was able to do a check on multi meter,

I read somewhere that if a coil pack fails this can cause the same channel on the ECU to fail also.

i do not know much of cars but well money is tight with me as well and I would rather try and fix it my self if it is possible, as the cost of even just looking at it is way to much .

Is anybody out there came across thiss issue before and can anybody help me out here

Cheers

hi, and welcome to the forum,:)

is the coil pack def. US?,
it may be the supply fault that's stopping it from doing it's thing,

YES - spikes can bugger the ECU , however,
first - I would have a look on the Stilo section,
then do a bit of tracing + checking of the wiring back to the ECU,

have you had any error lights, messages = had the CODES read..??

good luck,
Charlie
