what you think/ is it a good offer and buy in general..never had a fiat before,,does the bravo generates problems in general?

Check out http://www.bravo-guide.co.uk/

that will give you some important points to look out for when buying a bravo.

I have a 1998 SX 35k, although looking at the options on yours i'm assuming it's a HLX. Had mine 20 months and not had any major issues with it, love it.

Re: Re: Does it worth to by bravo?..is reliable?

Check if its had new injectors fitted and a new cambelt/tensioner. £3500 is a bit much for that age of car.

I'd agree with Tom there, that is a bit pricey for one as the bottom has dropped out the market. Get on ebay and have a look on there, I have bought two cars off there recently :) :) :) both well below recommended price saving myself what could easily have been nearly £3,500 in the process.

As for choice, I would still maintain the 1.8HLX is the best for comfort and a bit of poke (in standard trim) and the 1.9JTD the best of the lot engine wise for power and economy.

Nowt wrong with the 1.6 nige! :)

£2000 is about as much as you could expect one that old. It would have to be perfect though.

Re: Re: Re: Re: Re: Does it worth to by bravo?..is reliable?

2000 quid is not bad, but the prob is that i dont live in UK,,and yes in greece the damn second hand cars are still in high prices,,actually everything is in high prices over here!!!

apart from the price matter, can you help me on the reliability matter...are bravo;s mechanicaly good?, strong engines?...bla bla...thats what am more interested in.

p.s: if any of you come here for the olympics (am not gonna stay!)..guys bring money cos things get more and more expensive day by day:)

Re: Re: Re: Re: Re: Re: Does it worth to by bravo?..is reliable?

Apart from the injectors on my 1.6 (its a known problem but fiat won't really admit it) its been totally reliable. The usual things like rattles and leaks but you have to expect that from a 6 year old car.
