does anybody know the tuning potential of the 2.4petrol

am asking cos im interested in what my options are after ive killed frank lol and want to do something different.

the stilo guys dont recommend stickin a turbo on the 2.4 engine, it would be easier to swap the 2.4 for the 20vt coupe engine, then get torque italia to do the 2.4 conversion on the 20vt engine (or if its a bravo just do the 20vt engine swap and upgrade it and forget starting the 2.4engine)

well the car is a bravo but i dont know how much it would cost to import the 2.4 from brazil or spain, and how much the 2.4 20vt conversion would cost.

the 2.4 isn't a turbo unit donny, although it is still a 20v, looked at the getting a car from brazil many moons ago.

sos mate my mistake it is a 2.0l 20v turbo wich makes 182bhp lol it must be a conversion on you tube.

why not stick a 27 litre V12 Rolls Royce Meteor Engine in Frank, that will give you 650Bhp as standard.
You could also slap on a K&N filter and decat to give you an extra 7BHP if you still wasnt happy

You looking 10K+ for the 2.4 conversion and that would be kicking out about 500BHP with 480FT/LB. If you've got that money to spend why would you its still bloody front wheel drive?

Just thought of a wicked engine hows about an L60 chieftain produces about 750hp , the only downside it weighs 6 ton eeeeeek , i,ve got one at work can measure it up if you like lol lol
( yes i drive a chieftain *grin*)

hi again,
I have seen that sd1 before totally mental !! the engine is from a centurion tank and before that the spitfire! i wonder if he ever finsihed the project?
