That has been the one question in my mind Doc since you did this job........how did you manage to line it up and not cock it up??

Skill and taking my time. I had it in my mind it was going to be a nightmare job so I was prepared for a nightmare but it turned out OK. Not like moving the battery, that looks easy but is a nightmare job. HEHEH

The sun came out today so it was the first time the B has been out of the garage in well over four weeks. I wanted to fit the bass speaker box foam to help improve the responce I was getting. Its a good three hour job getting everything out the way so that you can get the petrol tank panel off and add the foam. I just got it all finished and put back together as it got dark.
It's helped the sub more then I expected so I am chuffed with it. If you do this mod and add a sub I would fit speaker foam at the same time.

Good to hear Doc.
Mine hasn't moved in over a month and its really annoying as ive done so much and spent a fortune on it lately. But its off to Dublin in it on Thurs no matter what the weather is like

I would have no probs using it as an everyday car, even with the soft top, but im insured on the wee seicento so can use it when its sitting about.
Think I have a problem with the strut brace though, seems the bonnet insulation and the brace touch, not good :bang:

Take some photo's - there is something amiss as it should not be a difficult job......
No no its 100% the right way up and its the ABS one cause it misses all the metal pipes at the back. So far ive only run it out of the garage and back in and there is a creaking sound so i was guessing it was the insultaion.
