Hi all.
I have change engine in my opel combo. 2013 Simular to doblo.with engine code 263.A2.000. 1.3 90 hp. Same code on donor engine. Fiat doblo.
It will not start at all, maybe air in dieselsystem 🤔
I search some knowledge/help about these engines, i have not change injectors from fiat engine to opel engine, will these engines start without coding injectors ? Electronic wire system on engine is also the same. .

I Will be very satisfied if someone can guide me to get start on this engine.
Thanks
Tore. Norway

Hi, there
Maybe i do wrong for bleed this common rail. 🙄 i am not sure about the immo. But diesel feed pump is working when put on ignition. The enginge crank.
No faultcodes.

These 2 connectors , they are not 100% same pin . Next to ecu , on same harness. Could these maybe be wrong ,

It doesn't need bleeding like hard lines. (it bleeds like a modern petrol)

BUT.. It needs the ECU to open the injectors

Update my engine swap. I have change harness from origin donor car, and some sensors, nothing helps, the engine will not start, i still have "old" injectors , i Wonder, do they need programming, or should engine at least start ? Thanks in advance for help 😀

As far as I know "programing" or coding injectors just smooths it out, makes it run more efficiently, it shouldn't stop the vehicle.
When it is cranking does the rev counter flicker/ try to show movement?
If not then check crank position sensor for damage.
I assume no warning lights/error codes showing and the immobiliser light comes on with ignition and then goes out before engine cranking?

Spray a small fuel mist into inlet,

Once it runs it MIGHT, keep going,

If not you have a basic problem

Ok, i also thought the same about injectors, the rev counter show movement, no error codes i am not surere about the immo, i Will post a pic of my cluster 🙂

I have try brakecleaner direct into intet. .. nothing at all happening 🤔 it should start , it , when attempt start, it show check glow plugs, I have test, it work well.

That car has no compression listening to your video, also that is why brake cleaner didn't get a reaction!
What work was done on the doner engine before fitting it?
By the way ECU cannot just reset.
I have a Vauxhall Combo 1.3 2014, I also have two Fiat Doblo 1.6mj 2010.
The diagnostic tool I can use on the Fiats will not work on the Vauxhall Combo as it can detect the different manufacturer ECU even though they are all basically Doblo.

I agree it sound like low compression, it is nothing done with the engine , the engine runs good when take it out, 🤔 i Will take it to a proper diagnose , for check up this . Thanks for answers all 😀

If the engine was turned backwards on pulley when fitting etc. it could have messed up timing chain/tensioner side.
Also they rely on a tight bolt on crank pulley as a freewheeling crankshaft pulley, so if pulley was changed or slackened it will cause damage.
